The Wood Carver's Guild invites you to its annual show on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the Frankenmuth High School, 525 E. Genesee St., Frankenmuth, MI 48734.

 

Exhibitors may enter at 7:00am to register and set up. Carving competition entries must be entered before 9:30 am. The doors will be open to the public from 10:00am - 4:00pm.

 

Free coffee and doughnuts will be available to exhibitors from 7:30am - 9:45am. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from the Boy Scouts during the show.

 

Exhibitor’s tables are 8 ft. long, 30 in. high. The show committee will assign all exhibitors locations. Special needs or requests for specific locations will be honored as best we can. A limited number of electrical connections are available. Bring a 50 - foot extension cord.

 

Exhibitors must provide table covering with floor length skirting and are required to maintain their table until 4:00pm. Exhibitors are responsible for security at their own table during the show.

 

Sale of carvings, tools, wood, books, and related items is permitted. Please provide receipts and wrapping for items. Sellers are responsible for paying all sales taxes. Commissions will not be charged by the show committee.

 

We will be having an open demonstration area. If you would like to demonstrate for 30 minutes please indicate on your application, and type of carving or demonstration. We will provide security for your table during your demonstration time.

 

This year the show will be using the MWCA proposed uniform competition rules which can be found here.

 

All applications must be received by October 10. 2011. Complete your reservation sheet and mail it to the Registration Chairman given below. If there is a need to cancel, please do so by Oct. 10 to receive a refund.
